attraction located in the capital of Azerbaijan.
From its highest point, visitors can enjoy a
breathtaking panoramic view of the city and
bay. Both locals and tourists come to the park

relax.

The territory of the parking zone is located on a hill,
so from the observation platforms, a magnificent
view of the nearby attractions opens Baku Boulevard,

➢ Nizami street is a large pedestrian and
shopping street in downtown Baku, named
after classical Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi.
The traffic-free segment, which begins at
the Fountains Square and ends at the Rashid
Behbudov Street, is commonly known
as Torgovaya. Nizami Street is home to various
outlets, from banks to fashion stores and is one
of the most expensive streets in the world. The
street also accommodates the embassies of
Germany, Norway, the Netherlands and

Guba is attractive with its green nature,
forests and mountain areas which is a part
of range of Caucasus Mountains. A village
of Khinalig considered as one of the highest
(more than 2000 metres above sea level)
and isolated areas are located in Guba
region and frequently visited by tourists.
Popular waterfall Afurdja which's height is
75 metrs is also located in Guba. The
Kudyal River which takes its sources from
high altitudes of Caucasus mountains flows
through the territory of Guba.
On your way to Guba you will enjoy the mysterious nature of the Guba City.

➢ Gechresh Forest is one of the largest
villages in the Guba region. It is located 12
km from the district center. There are many
recreation centers in the village. The area is
covered with forest on all sides. Gechresh is
famous for its natural springs and plants.
The wild walnuts, hazelnuts, cranberry,
hawthorn, hips, apples, pears and pine trees
grown there. As for the animal world, the
village is a home for gazelles, wolves, bears,
foxes and other animals. It is also possible
to catch fish in Gudjalchay, which gives a
special beauty to the village.

➢ 10:00 Gobustan Rock Art Cultural
Landscape covers three areas of a plateau of
rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of
central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding
collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings
bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
The site also features the remains of
inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all
reflecting an intensive human use by the
inhabitants of the area during the wet period
that followed the last Ice Age, from the Upper
Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The site, which
covers an area of 537 ha, is part of the larger
protected Gobustan Reservation.
➢ Gobustan Rock Art represents flora and fauna, hunting, lifestyles, and culture of pre-historic and
medieval periods of time. The carvings on the rocks illustrates primitive men, ritual dances, men with
lances in their hands, animals, bull fights, camel caravans, and pictures of the sun and stars. The date
of these carvings goes back to 5,000 – 20,000 years before present.

➢ Mud volcanoes
About 200 eruptions have occurred in 50 volcanoes
in the territory of Azerbaijani Republic since 1810.
Eruption of mud volcanoes is accompanied by strong
explosions and underground rumbling. Gasses come
out from the deepest layers of the earth and
immediately ignite. A height of a flame over volcano
reaches 1000 meters

➢ 13:00 The Bibi-Heybat Mosque is a
historical mosque in Baku. The Bibi-Heybat
Mosque includes the tomb of Ukeyma
Khanum, and today is the spiritual center
for the Muslims of the region and one of the
major monuments of Islamic architecture in
Azerbaijan.

➢ Fire Mountain is a natural gas fire which
blazes continuously on a hillside on
the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian
Sea near Baku. The Yanar Dagh fire is never
extinguished. Around this open fireplace the
atmosphere is filled with the smell of gas.
